Every cookie is made by hand in a home kitchen in Scottsdale. No commissary, no contract bakery, no white-label supplier. When you order, a person bakes it.
Registered, Not Improvised
Arizona Cottage Food Law exists specifically so home bakers can sell directly to customers. We operate inside it, on purpose, the way it is written.
Disclosed Up Front
Our kitchen is not inspected by the state or local health department. Arizona requires us to tell you that. We would tell you anyway.
The Long Version
What Cottage Food Means
Arizona Cottage Food Law lets home bakers make and sell certain foods directly to customers. Baked goods like cookies qualify because they are shelf stable and do not need refrigeration to stay safe.
The tradeoff is that a home kitchen does not get inspected the way a commercial facility does. Arizona requires every cottage food operation to say so plainly, so here it is, in the same size type as everything else on this page:

Some people read that and order immediately, because it means a person is actually baking their cookies. Some people read it and decide it is not for them. Both reactions are fair, and we would rather you make that call with the facts in front of you than find out later.
If you are ordering for a school, an office, or an event with a food policy, check that policy first. We will happily answer any question their coordinator has.
